However, the design of the education curriculums takes into account the ongoing developments with regard to each academic program at the local, regional, and global levels. Medicine and Surgery Program

As the largest component of the college in terms of students' numbers, the program aims to produce well trained, responsible and compassionate doctors who will be highly prepared to serve the medical and social needs of their societies. The program is committed to furnish students with the best medicine knowledge that meets their expectation and also makes a significant difference to people's health.

The program grants the degree of Bachelor of Medicine in five years (ten semesters).

Medical Laboratory Sciences Program

Medical Laboratory Sciences Program targets to prepare students to become skilled and professional medical laboratory practitioners. The program grants a Bachelor degree with Honors degree in five years (ten semesters)

The program offers courses, laboratory sessions and clinical training in five diagnostic areas:

  • Clinical Chemistry
  • Hematology
  • Microbiology
  • Histopathology
  • Parasites
Nursing Sciences

Nursing Sciences Program

In our modern world, nursing plays an essential role in providing the medical service in terms of granting direct patient care, spreading health awareness, managing short term and chronic illnesses and also advocating of patients. At HCMST, our syllabus is always updated to match this evolving profession in order to continuously graduate empathetic qualified general nurses who will be competent to work in any medical facility and also to be specialized in any discipline they choose.

Information Technology program

In response of the huge demand of Information Technology (IT) professionals due to the importance of IT in both personal and business life, our college provides an educational expereince where students can receive quality education that equally care for theoretical work and the practical aspects of this interesting technology.

Al-Hasahisa College of Medical Sciences and Technology (HCMST) also known as Almajd College is a private college established in Al-Jazeera State – Sudan by a group of intellectual Sudanese who seek to provide a quality higher education to solve the problems of society and meet the educational needs in various fields for people mainly in rural communities .With a medical and technological orientation, HCMST has been known for its success, devotion to excellence as well as its continuous sustainability efforts.     Does the college have foreigners?

    Yes, there are many Egyptian students enrolled in the college. The first batch has a small number of students, the second batch has more than the first batch, and the third, fourth and fifth batches have a very large number of Egyptians, approximately 150 Egyptian students per batch, in addition to male and female students from other African and Arab countries, creating a blend of cultures and a high level of academic competition.
